 At district meeting today, we met our new missionary…Elder Tennant from Melbourne, Australia.  He and Elder Davuke will be coming for dinner tonight, so we will hear all about him.  He is a greenie right out of the MTC.  All of the missionaries we have met from Australia have been great and he seems to fit right in with that group.

The Elders came for dinner tonight as they had an appointment in Alexandria after district meeting and, of course, Elder Davuke didn’t want to miss a day of cooked meal!  We didn’t eat until about 8:30 because Rick had his presidency meeting and then an errand after he had to take care of.  But, we were able to learn more about our new elder.  He is the second of four children.  He seems ready to work hard on his mission, which we really admire.  We need more like him just ready to do the work.

We also found out the Elder Van Zyl is now with Elder Clarke, who was here a few months ago.
