October 15, 2012

P-Day is busy day. If we are not going on some great adventure we are just doing a lot of stuff to try and catch up on things.  First thing after breakfast and scriptures we were going to go to the store and get the food needed to feed the Elders at Zone Conference on Wednesday, but the day started slower than planned. We had an appointment with our repairman, Terrance to fix our fridge and stove.  We called him because the fridge stayed cold but ran all the time both day and night. The oven on the other hand didn’t run all the time it just didn’t run.  The Elders, scheduled to come over at 11, for haircuts arrived just as Terrance was finishing, so I cut Elder Dales’ and Elder Alexanders’ hair before taking off.

After they left we decided to have lunch, a short nap and then off to get one of our tires repaired that had a wire in the sidewall and a screw in the tread as well.  It must have been from one of our many trips to the township that did it in.  After dropping off the tire, we stopped at the church to pick up the tithing deposit, dropped it at the bank, back to the church to drop off the deposit slip stuff, took a computer to the repair shop, back to the tire shop to have the tire put on, then to Rose Hill Shopping Area to get the food needed, stopped at the post office to pay the internet bill (They do a lot of things at the post office here…not just sending mail) then back to boarding to prepare for our evening visits.
