The Young Women planned a cookie making activity because
they LOVE the cookies I make and wanted to know how to do it. The first one is peanut butter sandwiched
between two Marie cookies and then dipped in melted chocolate. Very yummy!!!
Marie cookies are a flat vanilla cookie.
Even those who do not like peanut butter love this cookie. It has also been a hit with the elders!! The other one is simply chocolate chip
cookies. I put ¼ cup oatmeal in the mix
and it seems to make a very popular cookie.
They had fun with this activity and I was able to send each girl and
their leader’s home with a bag of cookies…very happy!!

After the cookies making, they watched six
segments of “Stand in Holy Places”. I
think they were touched with this spiritual video. We will show them more at a later date.
