September 1, 2013 Fast Sunday

A former member of the branch was visiting today and bore her testimony.  She has been through a lot but has worked hard to turn her life around and is doing quite well.  She spoke of how she has put the Lord first in her life and how He has helped her. She spoke about the things she has learned and realized and felt.  It was a powerful testimony and the Spirit was definitely there as she spoke.  She just wants to take care of her family and is learning to rely on the Lord for help more and more each day.  It was a great meeting and Rick felt to visit her at her mother’s home before she left for PE. We are so glad he listened to the Spirit. We talked quite a while and were able to help understand her concerns better.
